Skillz FC Academy provides a professional football experience, dedicated to empowering players to reach their fullest potential. Our mission emphasizes character development and holistic growth, creating a dynamic, supportive environment. Through specialized programs, we inspire young athletes to pursue their football dreams and strive for excellence in the sport.
Founded in May 2020 by Denis Maithya Mbithi, known as Clichy, Skillz FC Academy began during the COVID-19 pandemic with its first player, Lorenzo, training at home. Supported by Lorenzo’s parents, Chris Carver and Zenaida Hernandez, the academy quickly grew, relocating to a larger facility at Havilah Ranch, Ruaka.
Skillz FC Academy now trains over 300 players, offering comprehensive football education that fosters passion, skill development, teamwork, and personal growth across our primary training venue and various school-based programs.
At Skillz FC Academy, we strive for the highest standards in coaching and player development. We are dedicated to nurturing young talent and providing the best possible training environment to help our players reach their full potential.
Skillz FC Academy offers all children the chance to thrive in football, regardless of background, with scholarships for talented players from underprivileged communities, uniting local and international athletes through their love for the game.
We are committed to supporting our community's vulnerable members by providing underprivileged children in Nairobi with football opportunities, supporting girls with sanitary towels, conducting monthly food drives, and offering guidance and counseling to those in need.
We collaborate with local and international schools, integrating professional football training into students' lives. Our programs involve Durham International School, Woodland Star International School, Zuri Salama International School, Elyss School, and Maria Loreto School to promote fitness and holistic development.
We are dedicated to fostering our players’ football skills, character, and academic growth, instilling values like discipline, teamwork, and resilience to help them achieve excellence both on and off the field.
